LiPo - Receiver Batteries "LiPoRxII"
TOP-Information:
Compared with its predecessor, the LiPoRxII offers new features and improved characteristics:
The electronic circuitry is completely disconnected from the battery twelve hours after switching off.
This considerably reduces the rate of self-discharge of the LiPoRxII compared with its predecessor.
As a result, the safe period of storage without maintenance (i.e. without recharging) is substantially longer.
In response to many customers’ wishes, we now offer a removable cable set for the LiPoRxII in
addition to the separate control section.
The expensive battery - including electronics - is usually mounted in the model using Velcro tape.
This change means that it can easily be moved from one model to another, leaving the receiver connections
and the permanently mounted control section in the model.

... and these advantages are also included:
Anyone who knows us at Schulze will also be familiar with our opinion of pulsed power supplies:
Electric-powered model aircraft already carry plenty of potential interference sources on board
- and the last thing we need is to add yet another source of interference.
What is worse, these units also by-pass the speed controller’s opto-couplers - which are designed to keep
power system-induced interference from the receiver - thereby rendering them useless.
The LiPoRxII represents a range of ultra-modern receiver power supplies based on Lithium batteries.
The first advantage is obvious:
• Light weight combined with high load capacity.
In general terms two Lithium cells provide too high a voltage for the components connected to them,
so we stabilise the voltage at a user-selectable level:
• 5.7, 5.3 or 5.0 volts with nominal currents of 4 resp. 7 amps.
• 50% higher peak currents.
This is enough to power the camber-changing flap servos in a model glider or
the digital servos in a glow-powered or electric-powered model helicopter.
• The LiPoRx can be connected to any Lithium battery charger which features variable charge current.
• The LiPoRx features comprehensive safety circuits designed to prevent overcharging if the unit is connected,
for example, to a NiCd charger, or if the user sets an unsuitable charge current.
All that happens is that the batteries are not quite fully charged, as the battery is isolated from the
charge input when it reaches full voltage, and / or if the maximum permissible current is exceeded
or the unit is connected with reversed polarity.
• Recessed plug-in control section with bright multi-colour RGB-LED as full-status indicator.
• The full state indicator is independent from the load because of the fact that the battery characteristics
of the buildt-in Lithium batteries is known by the electronic circuit and also the current consumption is measured.
• Electronic, zero-wear, zero-maintenance high-current On/Off switch (with FETs) and press-button control.
• The integral balancer constantly keeps the battery cells at an even state of charge for a longer lifetime and highest capacity.
• Integral voltage / current recording (160 data sets with variable time resolution);
can be read out by using the prog-adapt-uni
plus the prog-adapt-alpha or the
USB-adapt-alpha alone.
